Shoebox Series #3—Glenwood Ave.

[¹]
Today I shot 50 frames with the “shoebox”: a playground, seascapes and beach scapes, street scenes, a motorcyle, a mural, and an old movie theater. Running out of time before running out of possibilities leaves more to explore another day.
It was difficult to select just one for today, but editing is good practice for me too. Questioning “Why this one over that one?” is forcing me to be objective and critique the work in the same way I evaluate the images of other photographers—and as visitors here might be evaluating mine.
There are also scenes I want to revisit and photograph again, with the result of first attempts in mind. This November challenge is generating more ideas than there is time to pursue! Which is something I didn’t anticipate.

Ah, you may not have anticipated the wealth of ideas you’re accumulating, but this way, you’ll never be bored, lol.
I love the colors in this street scene. Perhaps this is what causes you to choose this one to post?
BTW, April, now that you have more than 50 images from your foray, you could even “cheat” and just stay cozy and snug inside while posting one of them each day for the rest of the month! HEHEHEH

Flo! Don’t tempt me.
Besides, EXIF info would call me out, and of 50 frames only 4 were worth considering. But that’s actually a pretty good ratio for me.
